Football Session
Football Session
Every Monday 7:30pm – 8:30pm at Tibshelf Community School we provide 1 hour football sessions for men to attend.
These sessions will be small sided games run by the Bottled Up Blokes weekly Captains.
The aim of these sessions are to help with peoples physical and mental health by encouraging men to exercise and socialise.
We want people of all ages (18+) to attend regardless of fitness or ability.
Football Session Terms & Medical Disclaimer
By booking a slot and participating in any weekly football sessions, friendly matches, or fundraising events organised by Bottled Up Blokes C.I.C., you agree to the following safety terms:
- Physical Fitness & Risk: Football is a physically demanding sport involving risks of injury. By booking, you confirm that you are physically fit and capable of participating. If you have underlying health conditions or are returning from injury, you should seek medical clearance from your GP before playing. You participate entirely at your own risk.
- Medical Declarations: You agree to notify session leads of any critical pre-existing medical conditions (e.g., asthma, heart conditions) via our secure booking form so we can support your safety on the day.
- Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Bottled Up Blokes C.I.C., its directors, and its volunteer session leads accept no liability for any personal injury, illness, or property damage/loss sustained during our sessions, unless directly caused by our proven negligence.
- Bookings & Cancellation: The £3 booking fee is used directly to cover pitch hire and equipment costs. Because pitch hire is paid in advance, booking fees are non-refundable if you fail to attend. If you cannot attend make us aware with plenty of notice and we will rearrange your booking to another session if possible. If a session is cancelled by us due to extreme weather or pitch closures, your booking will be rolled over to the next session.
- Code of Conduct: We operate a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive behaviour, violence, discrimination, or abusive language toward other players, venue staff, or our volunteers. Session leads reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone violating these rules or appearing under the influence of substances.
- Mental Health Support Disclaimer: Our sports sessions provide community connection and peer social support. They are not a substitute for professional clinical medical treatment or psychiatric crisis care. If you are experiencing a severe mental health crisis, please contact professional services immediately (NHS 111 / 999 or Samaritans 116 123).
